I pray all is going well in your lives. I wanted to share something really quick today.

The devil has an agenda. He wants you in hell with him. The devil thinks he is slick because he is allowed (ALLOWED… he has ZERO power over GOD) to give earthly rewards to those who serve him. He knows how easy it is for us to lose sight of the fact that ETERNITY is the amount of time we will spend on this earth, multiplied by FOREVER.  

So, don’t let some of these celebrities and rich folks fool you. The devil is a WHOLE LIAR. He promised to give Jesus all of the kingdoms of the world if He would just fall down and worship him. FIRST OF ALL, How are you going to give Him something that doesn’t even belong to you dude? Like the devil really be trying it and if you don’t know no better, you will fall for it. He tried it with JESUS, the Son of God, so don’t think for 5 seconds he’s not trying the same thing with us. He knows if he can get you to sin, promote sin, or go against God for the sake of money, power, or anything else of this earth… it will start you on a path that ends nowhere near God.

If you follow me on Snapchat, you know I said it’s A LOT of stuff I’d probably do for money IF I didn’t know God and didn’t want to spend eternity with Him. We can all think of some pretty lucrative examples. SEX SELLS. SIN SELLS. BUT I DO KNOW GOD and I don’t want any money, any fame, any influence if it is going to cost me my soul. No amount of money or power is worth ignoring my convictions, forgetting my morals, operating out of character, or doing anything to glorify the devil and this world.

As far as money specifically, I can honestly say that I would rather be “broke” and make it to heaven to be with God, than have everything I could possibly want down here and end up spending eternity in hell. I put broke in quotations because you are never broke if you have God. Truth be told, you don’t have to worry about wanting for anything when your heart and mind is right. MAJOR KEY. But so many minds and hearts are polluted when it comes to money and material things. So many people are focused on earthly things and not where their soul will spend eternity.

The good news is, God TRULY rewards His servants. Not only can God can give rewards while we are here on this earth (because it all truly belongs to Him), but He is the only one who can give the eternal reward for when our time is up here. So don’t believe the hype of this world. The devil will have you out here selling your soul for things that already belong to you because they belong to your Father! Tell the devil the only kingdom you’re worried about is God’s. Tell him the only rewards you want are from God.
