Happy Resurrection Sunday!

The older I get, the sweeter Easter becomes. I’m going to tell you why.

I’ve gone through some things that have made me question my worth. I have gotten involved with people who have also made me question my worth & who made me feel like something was wrong with me. I have felt unloved, not heard, uncared for. I have felt like I had no reasons to live. I have felt guilt & shame. I have felt like I didn’t have a friend in the world. I have been abused, manipulated, lied to, and used. I have made mistakes. I haven’t always had pure intentions. I haven’t always kept God first. I have lived FOR ME. I have been lost in life. My flesh has had its share of fun. My flesh is still a hot mess. 

BUT JESUS.

When you’ve been in bondage to your sin, situations & circumstances... the freedom Jesus brings is life changing. 

When you’ve been broken in life from situations & decisions... finding wholeness in Jesus Christ is LIFE CHANGING. 

Jesus took all of that sin, pain, brokenness, guilt & shame to the cross with Him. His love has CHANGED my life & if you let it, it will change yours too! Jesus has loved me at my absolute worst. 

Jesus knows my name & had me in mind when He died on the cross. His sacrifice gave me a way back to God... the one who created me. The one who knew I would fall short. The one who knew I wouldn’t always choose Him. The one who has counted every single tear. The one who just wants to be with us, His creation, for eternity. He sent His son & Jesus thought I, Megan MeCheyell, was to die for. But not just me, but all who believe in Him! 

Jesus has already given the love we desperately search for & crave in people. Choose Him. If you’re going to give your ALL to someone... let it be Him! He died for you, so live for Him! 

He got up y’all! AND STILL HAS US ON HIS MIND!
